Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction to English language learners, supporting their academic growth and language development
- Collaborate with classroom educators to integrate English language development strategies and promote a cohesive learning environment
- Utilize a push-in and pull-out model to deliver high-quality instruction and support students' language proficiency
- Work closely with our team to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, leveraging technology and innovative teaching methods
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education (Master's degree preferred but not required)
- Active endorsement or certification in Teaching English Language Learners (TESOL or equivalent) in the state of Iowa
- Previous experience working with second-language learners (desired)
- Reliable computer with a strong internet connection, quiet professional workspace, and familiarity with virtual teaching platforms
