Job Overview:
Think Academy US, a pioneering education technology company, is seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Elementary Math Teacher to join our team of innovators. As a Remote Elementary Math Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of students from Kindergarten to 5th grade, fostering their critical thinking skills, and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging online math classes, tailored to Think Academy's curriculum, to students on a weekly basis (approximately 12-20 hours/week)
- Conduct 1-on-1 evaluations with new students to ensure they are enrolled in the correct classes (5-10 hours/week)
- Grade homework, communicate with parents, and provide regular updates on students' learning progress and areas for improvement (5-7 hours/week)
- Participate in paid teaching assistant work, attending classes, and learning from experienced lead teachers
- Collaborate with the teaching management team to achieve academic excellence
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay: $30-$40/hr for teaching hours and $16-$20/hr for administrative hours
- Yearly salary estimate: $40,000-$50,000

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; all majors welcome, with a preference for Education or STEM-related majors
- Prior math teaching experience is a plus
- Availability and willingness to work full-time from Wednesday to Sunday
- Passionate about teaching, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents
