Position Overview
The Remote Data Specialist plays a crucial role within the ABH Kansas Finance team, focusing on SG&A and FTE reporting and analysis, month-end close processes, and AP/cash management oversight. This position requires cross-functional collaboration to manage, plan, and report on these key areas.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) – demonstrable through education or experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Experience with Hyperion, Prophet, and Ariba systems.
- Experience working for a large, national organization.
- Familiarity with healthcare insurance industry terminology and concepts.
- Comfortable presenting to senior management and executive leadership.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics required.
