The Broker Performance & Insights Analyst will bridge business and technical conversations, translating complex discussions into actionable documentation while collaborating with various teams to drive meaningful results. Responsibilities β’ Partner with Account Managers and client stakeholders during sales and discovery meetings to capture, clarify, and document client objectives, operational workflows, and reporting needs β’ Develop and maintain business requirements documentation (BRDs) that accurately reflect customer and internal business owner expectations β’ Understand and articulate how different insurance business models (e.g., direct-to-consumer, brokered, MGA, or carrier relationships) impact system setup, data flow, and reporting β’ Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, and Policy Administration teams to align technology and business processes β’ Analyze client data requirements, reporting structures, and compliance considerations to ensure business and regulatory needs are met β’ Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and accurate interpretation of business requirements β’ Facilitate communication and follow-up actions after client and internal meetings, driving accountability and completion of next steps β’ Support continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies, data quality enhancements, and better alignment between business operations and system capabilities Skills β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) β’ 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry, ideally supporting sales, operations, or technology transformation initiatives β’ Strong understanding of insurance processes such as quoting, underwriting, policy issuance, billing, and claims β’ Demonstrated experience defining and documenting business requirements for insurance systems (e.g., policy administration, CRM, or data analytics platforms) β’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills β able to confidently engage with business executives, clients, and technical staff β’ Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy β’ Proficiency with documentation and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Microsoft Office Suite β’ Technical acumen to understand how business requirements translate to system functionality β without needing to write or code the solution β’ Experience working with brokers, agents, or within the employee benefits ecosystem β’ Background in insurance, fintech, or HR technology is a plus Benefits β’ Comprehensive Medical, dental, and vision plan for you and your family β’ Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are available β’ Highly competitive 401(k) matching β’ Generous 20-day PTO Policy, with rollover options.
