Lead Release Manager - Digital Transformation & Modernization

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote)

Visa: GCEAD & USC

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in strategic release planning and execution in an Agile/SAFe environment.

• Proven experience supporting IT change management, release execution, and quality assurance.

• Experience working with large, complex project portfolios and managing shifting priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and continuous improvement in team environments.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools for enhancing visibility and orchestration of release management processes is a plus.

• Strong experience with stakeholder communication, including working with senior management and external partners.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of release management, change control, and deployment processes.

• Ability to manage release readiness activities, including test planning and coordination of test environments.

• Skilled in risk assessment and mitigation planning, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

• Experience monitoring software performance post-deployment and resolving issues in collaboration with support teams.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum practices.

• Ability to articulate a modernization vision for release management and troubleshoot complex problems with a solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a healthcare or regulated industry.

• Familiarity with enterprise PMO practices and tools.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple concurrent priorities.
