Overview:
Priscilla’s Home Care, a premier provider of home care services in Dallas, TX, is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis. This role is vital in delivering high-quality home health services and ensuring the well-being of our elderly clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial client evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform 30/60 day supervisory visits and re-assessments as required.
- Provide patient care per nursing standards and the physician’s plan of treatment.
- Supervise and support caregivers, including coaching, orientation, and education (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Dementia, COPD).
- Monitor caregivers’ continuing education and compliance with policies.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Provide triage and on-call support as needed.
- Travel to client homes across the Dallas service area.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 years of combined public health nursing and supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using office equipment and maintaining electronic health records.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.
Preferred Traits:
- Calm and reassuring presence with active listening skills.
- Passionate about working with the elderly.
- Home healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
