About the position
- Responsibilities
- Provide visible thought leadership both inside and outside Verizon.
- Partner with the Product team to define and maintain a roadmap for above-market growth.
- Identify compelling use cases, repeatable solutions, and partnerships that can be scaled to drive growth.
- Create reference architectures that allow account teams to build solutions reflecting best practices.
- Consult broadly with account teams to drive deals to closure.
- Maintain a high level of relevant subject matter expertise and broad market awareness.
- Act as a key partnership role to the field sales team as a technical advisor focused on driving business results.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of experience in roles related to selling networks, security, systems integration, and managed services solutions.
- Ability to work with teams across multiple disciplines and contribute to different functional areas.
- A valid Driver's license.
- Willingness to travel (25%).
- Technical expertise in cloud networking and operation.
- Knowledge of offerings from cloud operators such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, underlay vs. overlay designs, cloud-to-cloud communication IP routing with a focus on BGP operations.
- Practical experience using APIs in Enterprise Environments.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies in an Enterprise Environment.
- Knowledge of network and cellular technologies in Enterprises.
