The Prevention Specialist role at Recovery Resource Council focuses on providing health-promotion services aimed at preventing teen pregnancy and promoting sexual health among youth and adults in the community. This full-time position involves working with high-risk teens in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, delivering both virtual and in-person educational programs, and requires a commitment to fostering meaningful change in the lives of participants.
Responsibilities
Ā Provide school and community-based health-promotion services to youth and adults.

Ā Deliver prevention education focused on teen pregnancy and sexual health.

Ā Facilitate day camps and other educational activities.

Ā Engage in program marketing and documentation of services provided.

Requirements
Ā Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

Ā Prior experience working with youth is essential.

Ā Strong skills in public speaking and classroom management are necessary.

Ā Experience in team-building and activity facilitation is required.

Ā Must have reliable transportation, insurance, and a valid Texas driver's license.
Nice-to-haves
