Job Description:
- We are seeking a PhD-level researcher with deep expertise in Parkinson’s disease to assist with two key objectives:
- Conduct a focused literature review on non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s, with an emphasis on:
- Bulbar dysfunction and aspiration pneumonia
- Speech therapy interventions
- Medication adherence challenges
- Digital health and mobile interventions for Parkinson’s
- Provide a professional Letter of Support for an NIH Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grant application. This letter should:
- Validate the scientific basis and unmet need
- Speak to the feasibility and innovation of the proposed approach (details will be shared privately under NDA)
- Highlight how your domain expertise aligns with the project's objectives
- Requirements:
- PhD in Neuroscience, Neurology, Movement Disorders, or related field
- Proven research/publication history in Parkinson’s disease
- Understanding of SBIR grants (a plus)
- Willingness to sign an NDA and/or provide a brief template letter to modify
- Strong communication and professional writing skills
