Pharmacy Operations & Compliance
- Under direct supervision of the pharmacist, use arenaflex pharmacy systems to retrieve patient data, verify prescriptions, and input drug information.
- Assist in counting, measuring, and pouring medications, confirming each prescription’s accuracy and checking for potential drug interactions.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the on‑duty pharmacist and follow the Quality Improvement Program procedures.
- Handle routine pharmacy phone calls, including physician inquiries and third‑party claim processing.
- Support inventory management: receive shipments, verify counts, stock shelves, and participate in regular cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding controlled substances, alcohol, tobacco, and other regulated items.
Store Maintenance & Merchandising
- Maintain well‑stocked, organized shelves using FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) methods to guarantee product freshness.
- Create eye‑catching displays for promotional, seasonal, and clearance items, collaborating with the visual merchandising team.
- Assist in photo‑service areas, operating digital passport photo kiosks, poster printers, and recommending related photo products.
