About the position
- Responsibilities
- Participate in maintaining a culture consistent with the Service and Behavioral Standards document.
- Coordinate and collaborate with providers, clinical and office staff to address patient needs effectively.
- Accurately record pertinent information in the EHR and ensure timely patient care documentation.
- Accept and return patient phone calls in a timely manner, documenting accurately as per provider direction.
- Assist all TCC departments to ensure effective clinical workflow and quality patient care, including task management and referrals.
- Improve the quality of care through continuing education and self-evaluation of care effectiveness.
- Work in compliance with the Remote Work Agreement and perform other assigned tasks.
- Requirements
- 2+ years healthcare experience as a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or LPN with an active certification or license.
- 1+ years of case management, care coordination, or practice experience.
- Nice-to-haves
- Technology experience with multiple EHR systems, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Experience with Athena EHR system is a plus.
- Intermediate computer and telephone skills.
- Proven ability to work well with providers, clinical staff, and patients.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment while maintaining quality of work.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Ability to maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and safety, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
