Overview
US-based, globally facing education platform with programs geared toward K-12 as well as technology oriented career certification programs is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic part-time teacher focusing on English Language Arts (ELA). .
This is a part-time job: classes are 30 -60 minutes, 1-4 days per week. (1099)
Qualifications:
- Confident, energetic, creative, and assertive enough to effectively engage middle school and high school students.
- 1+ years of teaching experience (if you have experience working with children in a school, camp or after-school environment, this is likely a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree or advanced coursework in English, Education, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on English Language Arts and pedagogy.
- Capable of working independently and communicating via email and phone
- Reliable high-speed Internet access and a computer that can support video conferencing.
Candidate must be able to pass a background check
