Full-time Nurse Practitioner | Urgent Care
Job Type: Full-time, Outpatient
Salary: $150,000 to $160,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm
Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner will be part of our growing medical professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide advanced primary and/or specialty care to our patients. Responsibilities will include but not limited to, performing physical exams, recording patient medical history, creating care plans and administering diagnostic test.
Job Responsibilities:
? Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
? Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
? Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
? Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
? Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
? Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Job Qualifications:
? Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner. (NP)
? Active state Nurse Practitioner license in New York
? At least 2 years of experience in this field.
? Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
? Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
? Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team, especially in stressful situations
? Ability to work well with a team
? Ability to maintain professionalism with patients and teammates
Compensation:
? Pay rate: $150,000 to $160,000 yearly
