Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing Special Education Teachers for a full-time, onsite role at a partner school in La Fayette, GA. This position offers a supportive environment and the opportunity to work with middle school students in a dedicated setting.
- Job Requirements:
- Active Georgia teaching license with SPED endorsement
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
- Previous experience working with middle school students preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Job Duties:
- Provide instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Manage a caseload of middle school students with varying needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
