The MES Analyst is responsible for the technical implementation of MES software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze operational needs and ensure effective system utilization while supporting digital manufacturing initiatives. Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain MES applications to support manufacturing operations Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into MES solutions Plan and oversee the deployment and layout of MES related workstations in manufacturing areas Interface with cross-functional teams and manufacturing personnel to ensure smooth implementation of changes Support the integration of MES with ERP, and other manufacturing systems Troubleshoot MES-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with IT, and Operations, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing processes Develop and maintain MES-related QMS documentation including, work instructions, and training materials, protocols and reports, and other documents such as trace matrices, test cases, and validation protocols and reports Provide user support, training, and documentation to enable effective system utilization Support system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous optimization of MES functionality Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards in system configuration and validation Support business leaders on Long-Term MES strategy for the business Maintain MES master data, workflows, routings, and process parameters to ensure accuracy and consistency Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data from MES, equipment, and other operational systems Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor process performance, yield, cycle time, throughput, and compliance Identify trends, gaps, and process risks using statistical and analytical methods Support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights to engineering and operations leadership Ensure data integrity, traceability, and alignment with quality and regulatory requirements Identify opportunities to reduce variation, waste, and manual effort through process, system, or automation improvements Skills Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline 1-4 years in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, FDA inspection readiness Advanced skills in MS Excel Strong logical thinking and ability to interpret data trends Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders across different departments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Systems thinking and attention to detail Ability to translate data into actionable insights Effective cross-functional communication Self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work under strict compliance standards Experience working in a medical device industry or highly regulated industry Experience with system integration (ERP, MES etc.) SQL knowledge Benefits Complimentary shuttles and subsidized transit options Hybrid model and flexible hours One dedicated day off for impactful volunteering Abundant opportunities for on-site training, workshops, and personal development Tuition reimbursement Health spending account Employee-led clubs, campaigns, sports teams, and exhilarating activities Company Overview Baylis Medical Technologies develops, produces, and distributes medical products.
