Wabash & Lake Consulting is a fractional marketing firm that provides high-level marketing leadership to clients. They are seeking a Marketing Specialist to support their team and clients, executing various marketing tasks and strategies while learning the Fractional Marketing model. Responsibilities Handle client-related tasks such as minor social media management, blog research and creations, cold email campaign setup and execution, vendor communication/requests, web or advertising copywriting, website copy/content updates, and newsletter creation within Constant Contact Attend client meetings, capture high-level notes via AI and manual note-taking, and update and tackle related 'to-do' lists that drive client revenue Act as the 'connector' between our team and our clients to ensure projects/tasks stay on track and meet high-quality standards Help pull reports from tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite to show clients the real-world ROI of our efforts Keep our CRM and project management tools organized so no detail ever falls through the cracks Skills Strong interest in marketing and/or becoming a high-performing and modern Marketing Director Ability to learn new abilities and strategies Excellent communication skills to draft copy that represents a client's voice perfectly Ability to think and operate within the brand structure and plan for a client Proactive attitude and high agency in managing time and execution Detail-oriented with a focus on flawless execution Tech-savvy and comfortable in Google Workspace Ability to navigate or quickly learn tools like HubSpot, Active Campaign, Apollo.io, WordPress, Constant Contact, and more Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing AI to enhance skills Experience in an agency or marketing environment Basic design software competency (Canva/Adobe) Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Active Campaign, etc.) Richmond Local: You live in or around Richmond, VA, and are able to attend occasional in-person client or team meetings and/or client video/photo shoots Company Overview Wabash & Lake Consulting provides marketing, advertising, and strategy services.
