Description
We run video ads for Dush (construction chemicals). We need a specialist to build, harden, and document a Make.com automation that pulls Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads insights daily, computes messaging-CTA clicks / conversations started and Call button clicks, adds platform / age–gender / device breakdowns, and emails a clean KPI report. Must be robust—no API/breakdown errors.
All communication, access sharing, files, and payments will remain on Upwork. Access to our ad account will be granted after hire.
Scope & Deliverables
Make.com scenario (single flow):
Insights (Ad Set, last 1 day): spend, reach, impressions, frequency, inline_link_clicks, unique_inline_link_clicks, ctr, cpc, thruplays (or video_thruplay_watched_actions), video_p25/p50/p75/p95/p100, video_avg_time_watched_actions, actions, cost_per_action_type.
Set Variables (3x) from actions[]:
– Messaging-CTA clicks (e.g., “Send Message”)
– Conversations started (on-ad messaging)
– Call button clicks
Use safe mappers (coalesce / select / map / sum) so empty arrays never break.
Breakdown calls (exclude actions and all video_*):
– Publisher Platform (FB vs IG)
– Age + Gender
– Impression Device (Placement if available)
Email → HTML report with totals + snapshots, scheduled 08:00 IST daily.
Error handling: fallback “No delivery yesterday” email; avoid invalid breakdown combinations; handle 0-bundle days.
(Optional) Logging: Append daily metrics to a Google Sheet and provide a simple Looker Studio view.
Documentation & Handover: 1-page config (IDs, fields, formulas, limits), scenario export, and a short screen recording uploaded to the Upwork workspace.
Support: 7 days bug-fix after go-live.
Acceptance Criteria (binary)
Email contains: Spend, Reach, Impr, Freq, CTR, CPC, ThruPlays, P50/P75/P95/P100, Avg Watch (s), Messaging-CTA Clicks, Conversations Started, Call Clicks (per ad set or campaign total—agree upfront).
Publisher Platform section shows Clicks/CTR/Reach for FB & IG.
Age/Gender and Device sections list top rows with values.
Scenario does not fail due to breakdown/empty-array issues.
Works whether Meta returns thruplays or video_thruplay_watched_actions.
Must-Have Skills
Make.com (mappers, aggregators, error routes, scheduling).
Meta Ads Insights API (field vs breakdown compatibility, actions array).
Zapier basics (future extensions).
Clean HTML email templating; concise documentation.
Nice to Have
Experience with messaging-CTA tracking, UTMs, call-tracking numbers.
Looker Studio / Sheets automation.
Access (after hire)
Business Manager read-insights permissions, relevant Campaign/Ad Set IDs, report recipient email, and a Sheet (if logging).
