Job Responsibilities:
As a Lead Math Instructor/Tutor, you'll:
- Lead, coach, and collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
- Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
- Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
- Competitive salary: $12 - 15 per hour
- Location: Simpsonville, SC (Remote options available)
