Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced part-time Assistant Faculty member to support our online undergraduate and graduate level Accounting classes. As an Assistant Faculty, you will play a critical role in creating an optimal learning environment by interacting with students in online classrooms and supporting instructional faculty. Essential Duties:
- Analyze student activity within discussions and assessments and respond accordingly
- Utilize online learning platform (Canvas) to communicate with students and manage generic student communications
- Escalate unique issues to the master instructor and assist with grading
- Monitor engagement levels and provide recommendations on increasing engagement
- Adhere to university policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Doctorate in Accounting or related field; Master's degree in Accounting considered
- 5 years of professional experience in Accounting
- Active CPA License highly preferred
- Previous online teaching experience with adult learners (5+ years preferred)

- Strong computer skills and ability to effectively communicate up and down the management chain
- Ability to manage potentially stressful situations in a professional and ethical manner
