- Key Responsibilities
- Write, test, and document technical work products (code, scripts, processes) according to organizational standards.
- Solve complex technical problems and build reusable components/libraries.
- Deliver high-quality work and mentor junior engineers.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify systemic issues and implement solutions.
- Design integrated systems enabling teams across product domains to deliver value at scale.
- Manage and reduce technical debt within existing systems.
- Anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices early in the development lifecycle.
- Evaluate technical risks and implement preventative strategies.
- Improve team delivery practices and drive process improvements.
- Identify opportunities for code reuse and reduced duplication across teams.
- Evaluate team performance and support individual development.
- Explore emerging technologies, develop prototypes, and integrate them into architectural solutions where appropriate.
