HRIS & Benefits Reporting Analyst (Contract – Remote)
Remote | Contract through September 2026 | $45–$50/hr DOE | Start ASAP
We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented HRIS & Benefits Reporting Analyst to support a critical phase of HR systems stabilization and reporting enhancement. This is a remote contract role running through the end of Q3 (September 30, 2026), with an immediate start preferred.
This position is ideal for a hands-on HRIS professional with direct benefits administration experience and strong Excel reporting capability. You must be comfortable working in an evolving environment where structure is still being built.
- Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits Administration Support
- Provide hands-on support for benefits enrollment, life events, and employee self-service
- Assist employees with benefits-related troubleshooting
- Partner with HR Business Partners to resolve benefits inquiries
- Audit and reconcile benefits data across HRIS, payroll, and carrier systems
- Support documentation and process improvements during system transitions
- HRIS & Systems Support
- Utilize Paycom to extract, validate, reconcile, and report on employee data
- Support concurrent HRIS implementations (including UZIO and Cocoon)
- Assist with data cleansing, testing, and reconciliation during system transitions
- Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure data integrity
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting processes
- Reporting & Analytics (Primary Focus)
- Design complex ad hoc Excel reports from loosely defined requests
- Translate business questions into structured datasets
- Build scalable reporting templates for recurring use
- Anticipate additional relevant data elements beyond initial requests
- Implement data validation controls to ensure accuracy
- Contribute to building a more standardized reporting framework
- Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of HRIS experience
- Direct hands-on benefits administration experience
- Strong experience with Paycom (highly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, nested formulas, data reconciliation)
- Ability to independently build executive-ready reports from raw data
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, and Finance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited documentation
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting HRIS implementations or system transitions
- Exposure to UZIO, Cocoon, or similar HR platforms
- Experience building reporting libraries or dashboards
- Familiarity with ACA reporting, benefits audits, or payroll reconciliation
- Compensation & Details
- $45–$50/hour depending on experience
- Fully remote
- Contract through September 30, 2026
