Role Description
- This role is ideal for an experienced CFO who thrives in client-facing advisory work and enjoys stepping in when organizations have immediate, high-impact financial leadership needs.
- The Fractional CFO will provide strategic and operational financial leadership to CRCFO clients in the real estate sector.
- Engagements typically range from 0–30 hours per week, depending on client needs and project scope.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA preferred, but not required
- Significant experience in:
- Real estate development and construction/renovation
- Acquisitions, property management, asset management, and investments
- Commercial and multi-unit residential properties
- LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience with investor reporting and direct interaction with investors
- Demonstrated leadership overseeing teams responsible for:
- General accounting
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Project accounting
- Asset management
- Advanced experience creating and modernizing:
- Cash-flow forecasting models
- Treasury and liquidity management frameworks
- Controllership and financial reporting models
- Hands-on experience with real estate systems such as:
- Yardi
- AppFolio
- Buildium
