We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Overnight Support Specialist to join our team. As a Overnight Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like atmosphere
- Preparing meals and promoting healthy eating habits
- Planning and leading recreational activities to enhance social and emotional well-being
- Supporting individuals with school work and educational goals
- Administering medication and monitoring health and wellness
- Assisting with individualized goal programs to promote independence and self-advocacy
- Operating a company vehicle to transport individuals to appointments and activities
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience working in the medical field, childcare, or with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Be eligible to work in the United States and be at least 18 years of age
- Pass a Level 2 background screening and drug test
- Hold a valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record
- Be physically able to lift 50lbs, walk, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, and speak English
