Join our dynamic team at Good Shepherd Health & Fitness Center in Barrington, IL, as a Group Class Instructor and play a vital role in shaping the wellness journey of our community members. As a passionate and certified group fitness instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of engaging classes, such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, water aerobics, and circuit training, to inspire and motivate our members to achieve their fitness goals. About the Role:
- Teach approximately 3-6 group fitness classes per week, with opportunities to earn extra income
- Provide safe, effective, and fun exercise experiences for members of all fitness levels
- Collaborate with our fitness team to create a supportive and inclusive community environment
Requirements:
- Current group exercise instructor certification from a nationally accredited organization (ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA specialty class certification)
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute (required within 30 days of hire)
- Flu vaccination required
