About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements government property processes, including asset control and inventories, based on contract, customer and corporate requirements
  • Monitors compliance with government property standards and prime contract flow down requirements
  • Manages subcontracts for property requirements to ensure that assigned personnel fully understand, comply and meet contractual requirements
  • Creates property records, such as government inventory and government property status reports, and maintains property record databases
  • Manages use and return of Government Furnished Property
  • Conducts investigations and inquiries into government property management issues (i.e. Loss/Damage/Destruction of government property)
  • Creates requisitions for material and other direct cost procurements
  • Assists with final property inventory and contract closeout activities
  • Primary interface between Government Property team and Program Management Office personnel
  • Coordinates with Project Leads, Buyers, and other functional teams as necessary
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
    Requirements
  • An Active TS/SCI Government Clearance which requires US citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (in lieu of degree additional 4+ years of experience can be replaced)
  • 4+ years of directly related government/military property administration work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analytical techniques, administrative and management methods, budgets, and other administrative areas
  • Willingness and ability to travel to perform property audits and conduct site visits when required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    Nice-to-haves
  • Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
  • Basic knowledge of contract types, terms, and legal requirements
  • Previous experience executing GSA FEDSIM contracts
  • Prior military service or experience supporting the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community
  • Collaborative and self-motivated with good business judgment
