Job Description:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and skilled Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join our team. This fully remote role allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while working from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities:
ย Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
ย Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each studentยs needs.
ย Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to enhance student learning and development.
ย Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to engage students effectively.
Qualifications:
ย Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Illinois.
ย Prior experience working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students is preferred.
ย Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements: ย Liability insurance is required. ย This position is offered as a 1099 contracted role.
