Position Summary:
VocoVision is hiring a remote School Psychologist to provide teletherapy services to students in Alaska. This role offers the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful impact on students' mental health and academic success. Job Details:
Β Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Β Work Environment: Fully Remote (Serve Students in Alaska)
Β Caseload: PreK-12 (Determined by Experience & District Needs)
Β Start Date: Immediate openings available
Β Schedule: Flexible hours (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Β Compensation: $45-50/hr based on experience
Responsibilities:
Β Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs.
Β Develop and implement intervention plans to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
Β Provide individual and group counseling via a secure virtual platform.
Β Support students with anxiety, behavioral issues, learning disabilities, and emotional disorders.
Β Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create a positive learning environment.
Β Participate in IEP meetings, goal-setting discussions, and crisis intervention planning.
Β Utilize research-based methodologies to improve student success in school.
Β Document progress notes, reports, and recommendations in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Β MasterΒs or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Β Alaska Type C Special Services Certificate required.
Β At least two years of experience working as a school psychologist preferred.
Β Comfortable using teletherapy platforms (training provided).
Β Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Β Ability to work independently while collaborating with school teams remotely.
Β Reliable high-speed internet and up-to-date technology for online services.
