Special Education Teacher – Full-Time | Kansas City, MO | 2025–2026 School Year
Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a school district located in Kansas City, MO.
- Position Details:
- Full-time, onsite role
- Classroom-based instruction supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Provide individualized instruction, accommodations, and support as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
- Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Missouri teaching certificate in Special Education
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and differentiated instruction strategies
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Preferred: prior school-based experience, experience with assistive technology, and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
