Full-Time DHHT Opening | Walnut, CA | Short-Term School Contract
We are working with a local school district in Walnut, CA to place a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) for a short-term leave coverage position beginning this August. Interviews are being scheduled now for this full-time, onsite role.
- Job Details:
- Schedule: 35 hours per week
- Contract Term: 8/11/25 through mid-to-late October
- Caseload: 35 students during leave coverage
- Type: Onsite only
- Additional job details will be covered in your interview
- Qualifications:
- State teaching certification with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement
- Eligible for a California teaching license
- Experience in special education and subject-specific instruction is strongly preferred
- Prior work with D/HH students required
