Full-Stack Mobile Developer for "Buddy" – A Group-Based Diet Support App
I am looking for a talented mobile developer (or a small agency) to build the MVP of Buddy, a unique social-diet application.
The Concept:
Unlike traditional diet apps, Buddy focuses on micro-communities. Users are matched in groups of 5 with similar goals. The app is about real-time peer support, accountability, and practical "on-the-go" advice.
Core Features to Build:
Buddy Matchmaking: A logic to group 5 users based on their weight loss goals and lifestyle.
The "Truth Feed": A private group chat/feed where users post daily scale photos and body progress.
AI Privacy Filter: Automatic face-blurring for body progress photos before they are uploaded.
SOS "Out & About" Button: A quick-access dashboard where users get instant food tips (Jolly Foods) based on their location (Fair, Office, Airport) and alert their group for immediate support.
Group Progress Bar: A visual tracker that aggregates the total weight lost by the group.
Technical Stack Preferred:
Frontend: Flutter or React Native.
Backend/Database: Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Push Notifications).
Media: Integration for automatic face detection/blurring.
