About Envision Strategies

Envision Strategies is an Indianapolis-based creative + performance marketing shop for owner-led and growth-stage brands (CPG/food & bev, retail, professional services, events) and nonprofits across the Midwest. Our team handles end-to-end execution: brand and content systems, ongoing social creative, paid media (Meta, Google, LinkedIn), email and lifecycle, websites (Shopify, WordPress, BigCommerce), photo/video, and performance tracking. Clients hire us when they need a hands-on partner that acts like an in-house team: build the strategy, make the creative, launch it, and prove it worked.

Role Overview

Manage a repeatable weekly or monthly creative cycle for social and paid campaigns. You’ll translate clear briefs and performance notes into on-brand assets that are easy for our team to localize and schedule. This is a contractor role at $30/hour for ~20 hours per month with defined deadlines, file standards, and QA.

    What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain a reusable template system (static posts, carousels, story/reel covers) with locked grids, styles, and export presets.
  • Design and iterate paid ad creative (Meta/Google standard sizes), delivering labeled A/B variants with version control and clear CTAs.
  • Apply performance feedback (CTR, CPA/ROAS, watch time) to refine creative on a weekly cadence and document learnings.
  • Prepare edit-ready files for Canva/Adobe; ensure mobile-first layout, contrast/legibility, and CTA clarity.
  • Maintain brand kits (colors, typography, components); enforce naming conventions, folder structure, and export quality.
  • Perform a final QA check on every deliverable (spelling, safe areas, sizing, compression)

Tools

Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop (+ After Effects or Premiere/Express for simple motion), Canva Pro, Motion Array, Creatify.AI, Google Drive, Notion.

    What Success Looks Like
  • Consistent, on-brand creative: clear hierarchy, mobile-first type, strong CTA; templates protect spacing, grids, and styles.
  • Reusable systems, less rework: a growing library of templates/components that the team can update quickly in Canva/Adobe.
  • A/B discipline for ads: labeled variants with a clear hypothesis; learnings documented and applied to the next round.
  • Performance-informed updates: creative refined using actual results (CTR, CPA/ROAS, thumb-stop, watch time), not just taste.
  • File hygiene and speed: tidy layers, consistent naming, export presets, and on-time delivery with 2-business-day edit turns.
  • Quality control: every asset passes a pre-publish QA (size/ratio, contrast/legibility, spelling, links, safe areas, compression).
  • Light motion: tasteful use of branded elements (openers/end cards/titles) that enhance the story.
    Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of active design work (student, freelance, or full-time)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and comfort handing off editable files in Canva Pro or Adobe Suite.
  • Strong typography/layout fundamentals; mobile-first thinking; knows platform ratios/safe areas.
    Schedule & Pay
  • Contractor (1099). $30/hour, ~20 hrs/month (monthly cap; overage only with approval).
  • Mostly async with a short weekly touchpoint.
