Freelance Paralegal (Arizona Family Law) Location: Remote Position Type: Freelance / Contract Overview We are seeking an experienced freelance paralegal with strong motion drafting skills and substantive experience in Arizona family law. This is a remote, contract-based role supporting complex family law litigation, including dissolution, custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-decree matters. Key Responsibilities • Draft motions, responses, replies, and supporting memoranda in Arizona family law matters. • Assist with preparation of pleadings, disclosures, discovery requests, and discovery responses. • Conduct legal research under Arizona statutes, rules, and case law, including Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure. • Organize and analyze case materials, exhibits, and evidence for hearings, mediations, and trials. • Prepare affidavits, declarations, and supporting documentation. • Manage deadlines and maintain case files in a remote environment. • Collaborate with attorneys to ensure accuracy, clarity, and strategic consistency in filings. Required Qualifications • Demonstrated experience as a paralegal in family law matters, with specific experience in Arizona family law preferred. • Proven ability to draft high-quality motions and litigation documents with minimal supervision. • Strong understanding of Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure and relevant statutes. • Excellent legal writing, organization, and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
