Job Summary:
Gold’s Gym, a worldwide leader in health and fitness, is currently seeking an experienced, part-time Fitness Trainer for our Marshall, MO location. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing our members with personalized fitness programs, conducting fitness assessments, and leading group fitness classes.
This part-time position offers less than 4 hours of work per day, health and dental insurance, paid training, and paid vacation.
Job Description:
As a Fitness Trainer at Gold’s Gym, you will be a key part of our dynamic and passionate team. You must be able to design custom fitness programs tailored to our member’s individual needs, conduct fitness assessments, and lead group fitness classes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct fitness consultations and assessments
Develop individualized exercise programs for members
Educate and guide members on proper techniques and safe use of equipment
Lead a variety of group fitness classes
Monitor and track member’s progress and adjust their program as needed
Maintain a clean and safe workout environment
Participate in promotional and marketing activities
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Certified Personal Trainer certificate from a nationally recognized organization
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of exercise science, nutrition, and basic anatomy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
