About the position
- Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and establish service plans in collaboration with DCF case workers.
- Maintain program quality through participation in staff orientation and training.
- Provide direct services to clients and families, including skills building and service navigation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interactions with clients and families.
- Participate in agency-sponsored trainings and special events.
- Conduct outreach activities among DCF case management staff to increase program utilization.
- Meet qualifications for credentialing and maintain that status.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or Social Rehabilitation preferred.
- 1 year of experience in social work or related field preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Nice-to-haves
- Aptitude in parent support preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred.
