- *Job Summary**
The Senior Equipment Services Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our technicians, ensuring seamless communication with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, advanced communication skills, and the ability to multi-task against various deadlines. The successful candidate will be proficient in system application and navigation using multiple screens, with a strong understanding of logistics and operations principles.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Schedule and coordinate daily activities for 15+ technicians, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
- Interface directly with Field Service Supervisors, customers, and sales teams to resolve scheduling exceptions, answer customer inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Identify gaps in schedules and provide input on technician capacity, recommending solutions to optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with various teams, including Field Service Supervisors, Team Managers, and other coordinators, to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure timely completion of service calls.
- Work in SAP to support service activities, manage parts ordering, and track inventory levels.
- Handle project-related work, including inventory support, planning for large order requests from sales, and processing returns.
- Ensure timely completion of service calls in accordance with service level agreements, researching and resolving ticket scheduling issues using complex systems.
- Monitor and respond to incoming requests and emails related to special projects, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Participate in strategic initiatives to drive organizational efficiency, identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- *Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service or logistics/transportation, with a strong understanding of operations principles.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task against various deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information to customers and stakeholders.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft applications, with proficiency in system application and navigation using multiple screens.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar applications is a plus.
