As a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional service and exceeding our guests' expectations. **Key Responsibilities** As a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including: * Assisting guests with travel needs, such as answering inquiries, baggage handling, ticketing, checking-in passengers, and boarding flights * Working outdoors in all types of weather conditions to perform below-wing functions, such as transporting baggage and cargo, loading and offloading luggage and cargo, aircraft marshaling, pushing back the aircraft, and aircraft deicing * Performing aircraft grooming and security searches * Processing and securing guest luggage, including filing and maintaining luggage claims as necessary * Loading and offloading luggage and cargo using conveyor belts * Assisting with boarding and gate duties, including directing guests, making announcements, processing standby's and upgrade requests * Performing other duties as assigned by management to ensure complete guest satisfaction **A Day in the Life** As a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests from all over the world. Here's a glimpse into a typical day in the life of a Ramp & Customer Service Agent: [Insert video or link to a video showcasing a day in the life of a Ramp & Customer Service Agent] **Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Valid unexpired driver's license issued by a US state, a US territory, or the District of Columbia * Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system * Typing speed of at least 25 WPM * Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds * Ability to stand for long periods of time * Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and grasp * Ability to perform basic mathematics * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays * Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel * Depending on work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification * Ability to obtain airport security clearance * Ability to communicate in English * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum age of 18 * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications** * Minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience * Airport SIDA Badge Requirements: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge.
