As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting our Emergency Medicine physicians and enhancing patient care.

Position Overview
- Job Title: Emergency Department Medical Scribe
- Location: Remote (with required on-site training)
- Start Date: Immediate openings available
- Schedule: Flexible schedule with evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with our Emergency Medicine physicians to assist with various administrative aspects of patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Recording patient history, review of systems, physical exam findings, progress notes, procedure notes, and follow-up of laboratory and diagnostic results
- Assisting with managing patient flow by notifying physicians of laboratory or diagnostic study results
- Monitoring charts to ensure timely completion and accuracy
- Communicating with hospital personnel through face-to-face conversations, paging, phone calls, and emails
- Retrieving previous medical records and lab results using electronic records
- Administering patient surveys as requested
- Assisting with training new Medical Scribes and CIMs
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:
Essential Qualifications:
- Have completed formal medical scribe training
- Have previous experience working as a Medical Scribe in the Emergency Department
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with electronic medical records and charting systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
