We're looking for a talented Data Entry Specialist to support our pharmacy operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for accurately processing patient data, resolving data entry exceptions, and providing exceptional customer service.   • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Accurately process patient data, including prescription information, patient registration, and demographic data, using arenaflex's prescription information access strategies and systems.
  • Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter top-off orders for processing.
  • Troubleshoot to attain missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all data entry-associated exceptions and ensure accurate and timely processing of patient data.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
  • Resolve 1/3 party rejects by reviewing, gathering facts, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Make phone calls to insurers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve 1/3 party rejects.
  • Provide assistance to pharmacists, both those within the facility and those at other locations.
  • Identify and communicate issues to senior-level team members as necessary.
  • Obtain active technician license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active technician license or certification.
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Basic computer skills, including:
  • + Starting and shutting down a laptop.+ Using a mouse to click and navigate.+ Starting and closing applications.+ Transferring between programs.+ Saving files.+ Printing documents and/or accessing information online.
  • Basic Google competencies, including:
  • + Opening a browser.+ Typing in URLs in the correct area.+ Using a search engine.+ Bookmarking a website.+ Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons.+ Filling out forms online.
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting files).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • At least 365 days of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least 18 months of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration via state as granted by the state board of pharmacy or nationally recognized certification corporation.
  • Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including assembling pleasant standards for offerings, and assessment of customer pride.
  • Intermediate to superior-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, formatting files).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
