Key Responsibilities
The Data Entry Specialist will be accountable for a range of tasks, including:
- Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing breaks recognized between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents
- Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions task, and processing/reconciling returns activity
- Conducting analysis of complex/escalated issues and performing testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
- Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
- Collaborating with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
- Interacting with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners to ensure seamless execution of transactions
Duties Analysis
The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for:
- Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests
- Client/Advisor amount exceptions
- Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
- Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Identify and resolve internal/external system issues or concerns
- Determine the root cause of breaks between arenaflex, the Fund, and other external partners
- Provide method or technology solution alternatives to Management
- Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Counterparty Firm, Client, or Business Partner
- Respond to business partner inquiries regarding Fund information requirements/eligibility
- Follow up on Alternative Investment moves to expedite the client request or remediate not neat issues
- Promptly and correctly complete client investing and dividend requests
