As a Data Engineer - Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in data warehouses across multiple databases and identifying opportunities to grow data schema within Cyber Security
- Reviewing and analyzing simple data control business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of options and exercising independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables
- Presenting guidelines for resolving more complex data control conditions and exercising independent judgment while growing understanding of the company's data policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborating and consulting with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external clients if applicable
- *Required Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent validated by one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C#, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience working with data analysis tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar
- Experience in building data engineering pipelines for various data sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data security principles and practices
- *Desired Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Minimum of 1 year of Data Analysis experience in the Financial Services industry
- Minimum of 1 year of Cyber Security area exposure
- Experience working with data visualization tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar
- Experience in building data engineering pipelines for various data sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
