With a wide range of products and services across various departments, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment that's perfect for motivated and customer-focused individuals. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide fast, friendly service to customers, actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance to meet their requirements * Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects * Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments * Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe * Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty, and working safely as not to endanger yourself, co-workers, vendors, or customers * Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments **Specific Store Departments:** * Building Materials * Décor * Electrical * Flooring * Garden * Hardware * Kitchen & Bath * Lumber * Millwork * Paint * Plumbing * Tool Rental **Customer Service & Sales Position Types:** * Department Sales * Lead Generator * Pro Account Sales * Sales Specialist * Special Services * Customer Order Specialist **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent required;
