- *Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to customers inside and outside our centers, including answering questions, resolving issues, and promoting arenaflex products and services.
- Using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer transactions.
- Moving and hooking up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation of equipment.
- Cleaning and inspecting equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer transactions.
- Installing hitches and trailer wiring, and filling propane tanks (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment).
- Driving a forklift (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment).
- Participating in ongoing continuous education through arenaflex University, staying up-to-date on the latest products, services, and technologies.
- *Minimum Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with equipment rental or moving companies.
- Knowledge of U-Haul products and services.
- Certification in propane tank filling or forklift operation.
- *Work Environment**
The work environment for this role involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
- *Physical Demands**
The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
