As a remote customer service representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's shaping the future of healthcare. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to clients via phone, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally * Tracking and documenting all inquiries using our applicable systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records * Answering incoming calls from consumers and providers, providing information about the Medicaid Newborn process, Good Cause, and/or Presumptive Eligibility for children * Completing associated tasks according to established guidelines, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of client requests * Meeting Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service * Facilitating the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download, ensuring seamless communication and support * Transferring/referencing consumers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of client requests * Escalating calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving * Facilitating translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures (if bilingual), promoting inclusivity and accessibility * Attending meetings and trainings as requested, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 1 year of call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner * High School Diploma or the equivalent, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development * Willingness and ability to work remotely, without distraction or interruption, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline * Bilingual skills (English and another language) are preferred, but not required **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications will be viewed favorably: * Experience working in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of Medicaid and related programs * Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant systems **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
