  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • **Customer Engagement:** Provide positive and approachable customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • **Store Maintenance:** Maintain a clean and well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • **Merchandise Management:** Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • **Transaction Processing:** Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • **Safety and Security:** Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, adhering to arenaflex's safety and security protocols.
  • **Additional Duties:** Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including but not limited to, processing freight, recovering merchandise, and assisting with visual merchandising.
  • *Position Requirements:**
  • **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
  • **Experience:** Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
  • **Physical Requirements:** Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • **Availability:** Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule or part-time to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
