Execution Trader – Futures & Options (Interest Rate Derivatives)

Silvertide is a fast-growing agency brokerage specializing in interest rate derivatives, partnering with the world’s leading hedge funds. We are a technology-driven firm, building our own software and automation infrastructure to redefine the agency brokerage model. As we continue our rapid global expansion, we are strengthening our execution team with ambitious, technically skilled traders who thrive in fast-moving markets.

Role Overview:

As part of the execution team, you will focus on trading listed interest rate futures and options across G3 currencies on global exchanges and liquidity pools. You’ll be directly involved in the execution of contracts such as TY, SOFR, ESTR, and RX, managing orders across electronic trading systems, the Chicago pits, and through call-around activity with market makers and liquidity providers.

Your role will require deep understanding of futures and options structures, including spread trading, delta and gamma hedging, and pricing synthetics. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver best execution and maintain market-leading performance in highly competitive environments.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute listed interest rate futures and options across global exchanges and multiple liquidity pools.
  • Manage complex order flows including spreads, strips, and options strategies.
  • Calculate and manage hedges, Greeks, and synthetic prices in real time.
  • Execute trades electronically, in-pit (Chicago), and via call-around with liquidity providers.
  • Maintain a high level of market awareness, monitoring interest rate trends, volatility, and liquidity dynamics.
  • Support automation and workflow improvements within the trading technology stack.
    Requirements:
  • 1-3 years interest rate derivative experience in either trading, execution or an adjacent function (for example middle/back office, trade support).
  • Derivatives Expertise: Solid grasp of futures and options mechanics, including implied pricing, calendar spreads, and volatility trading, is a strong advantage for the role.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to cover New York trading hours (12–10pm London time), with flexibility to work remotely for late shifts.
  • Mindset: Detail-oriented, disciplined, and motivated to excel in fast-paced markets with a focus on precision and continuous learning.
