    Job Description:
  • Provides leadership in the development and implementation of primary and secondary information systems to meet the Strategic IS Plan.
  • Coordinates tactical planning and evaluation of IT systems to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and integration.
  • Identifies and plans IT initiatives to support operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Evaluates the use of technology in clinical and business settings to improve safety, quality, and satisfaction.
  • Ensures IT solutions meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Manages vendor relationships to ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Develops and implements cost-effective initiatives for meaningful use of electronic health systems.
  • Facilitates standardization of information systems terminology, processes, and content.
  • Plans and forecasts budget requirements for hardware, software, and solutions.
  • Provides direction and support to maximize the value of clinical systems.
  • Monitors and analyzes data to identify trends and barriers in processes and outcomes.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 5 years leadership experience, with a background in clinical management or operational delivery. Minimum of 5 years Information Systems experience, with progressive responsibilities for leadership and support of healthcare IT
  • Proven leadership experience in a large Healthcare System
  • Hands-on experience supporting Population Health, ACOs, Clinical Analytics, and Registries.
  • Deep proficiency in Population Health tools: Risk Scores, Predictive Analytics, Integration of external data in Epic Healthy Planet tools and Epic Healthy Planet Link.
  • Understanding of Epic outpatient and care management workflow and tools (EpicCare Ambulatory & Compass Rose)
  • Understands the population health risk assessment and contracting process, structure, and terminology
  • General Understanding of Epic Data Structure (Caboodle/Clarity) and Epic reporting capabilities (Cogito)
  • Ability to translate the requirements needed for ACOs and knowledge of MSSP [Required]
  • Ability to demonstrate and have a history of team management (informal or formal), cross-team communication and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of business administration and organizational principles, with an in-depth knowledge of Healthcare issues and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to all levels of the organization, analyze complex issues and translate in language appropriate to the customer.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, influencing decisions and outcomes and facilitating consensus
  • Epic Certification and/or proficiency of related application suite of products [Preferred]
    Education:
  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]
    Work Experience:
  • 5+ years related experience
