As an Enterprise Architect, you will;

  • Work with EUD technologies such as VMware, Citrix, or similar virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI), PowerShell, Python, and Azure.

  • Be proficient in End User Device technologies, including Microsoft Windows 11, M365, Group Policy, SCCM, Intune, Auto Pilot, and Azure.

  • Display familiarity with endpoint protection platforms (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, or other antivirus/malware solutions).

  • Have expertise in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions, such as Citrix Workspace, VMware Horizon, or Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.

  • Have a strong understanding of cloud-based solutions, including Azure AD, Microsoft Cloud PC, and integration with healthcare applications.

  • Have experience with patch management solutions for end-user devices.

  • Have proficiency in device life cycle management processes, including provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning

  • Be responsible for the design and implementation of Intune-based device management solutions including Windows Autopilot.

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including clinical, IT, and administrative teams.

  • Experience with managing electronic medical records (EMR) client software.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, and the ability to architect compliant solutions.

  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and the use of devices, EMRs, and peripherals (e.g., barcode scanners, printers, monitors) in healthcare environments.

  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7 and FHIR.

  • Ability to align end-user device architecture with broader organizational goals and IT strategy.

  • Be responsible for the overall direction for the organization's technical infrastructure within an IS discipline.

  • Work with technical staff to integrate hardware, software and/or network interfaces to form a system.

  • Participate in strategic planning.

  • Build strategic roadmap for technology lifecycle and standards.

  • Build integrated system design by gathering current state, transition state and future state for a single discipline.

  • Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

  • The ability to train staff on new technologies and create user-friendly documentation.

  • A strong customer service mindset with a focus on delivering excellent support for end users in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Be adaptable to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment, responding quickly to new challenges and priorities.

QualificationsRequired:

  • Five years related experience plus excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced infrastructure design skills.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Solid understanding of multiple disciplines such as operating systems, virtualization, networking, integration, software development, endpoint devices, security or cloud services.

  • Occasional on-site attendance requirement for departmental meetings.

Preferred:

  • Seven years' experience in a healthcare or IT setting.

  • Certification specific to technologies supported

  • 2 years' experience defining and implementing strategies under a director or equivalent.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong Experience with Design and architect enterprise-level solutions with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory (AAD)

  • Experience managing large enterprise PC and device fleets, including both physical and virtual machines on Citrix and/or VMware platforms.

  • Knowledge of supporting network and infrastructure required for device management.

  • Knowledgeable in architecting and managing Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and other security software.

  • Familiarity with endpoint security and compliance solutions in healthcare environments.
