About the position
- Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance Proofpoint's email security and threat protection solutions
- Act as primary contact for managed service vendor
- Collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices
- Cross train to support other security programs including vulnerability management
- Requirements
- BA/BS plus at least 4 years of relevant IT Security experience, or equivalent experience/education
- Proven experience with Proofpoint's suite of products (EFD, TRAP, TAP, POD)
- Strong understanding of email security and threat protection
- Nice-to-haves
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Exchange/M365 Exchange Online administration experience
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, SANS GIAC GSEC, ISC2 SSCP/CISSP, Azure Security Engineer Associate)
