About the position
- Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate Vermont educator preparation programs for compliance with state standards.
- Process transcript review applications and support multiple licensing processes during peak periods.
- Prepare and report findings related to educator preparation programs.
- Facilitate training and observations for program evaluation and compliance reporting.
- Interact and collaborate with department staff, educators, and various stakeholders.
- Requirements
- Five years or more of experience in education, teaching, or related student support services.
- Two years or more of experience as an Education Consultant I within the State of Vermont.
- Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
- Knowledge of and experience in education preparation programs.
- Experience with accrediting bodies.
- Experience with program evaluation.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Competency with basic technology (Office/Google Suite, virtual meetings, basic web design, online surveys, etc.)
