Pay Range: Local: $41–$47/hour | Travel: $1,400–$1,700 weekly (equivalent to $51–$61/hour)
Blazer Jobs is currently hiring a licensed School Occupational Therapist (OT) to support a school district in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time position is open to both local professionals seeking consistent school-year roles and travel therapists interested in flexible contract assignments.
Position Overview:
The Occupational Therapist will deliver therapeutic services to students in K–12 settings, focusing on improving independence, participation, and success in school. Collaboration with families, teachers, and IEP teams will be a central part of the role.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
- Train educators and caregivers on adaptive strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district/state regulations
- Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass background and fingerprint clearance
